SAINT JOHN MARY VIANNEY Priest (1786-1859)         St. John Mary Vianney was born in 1786, near Lyon in France. He was not quick at study and had great difficulty in being accepted for ordination.         He was sent to the parish of Ars, which he transformed by his preaching, his personal mortification, his life of prayer and charity for all, and particularly by his fame as a confessor. People came to him for spiritual help from all over the world.         He died in 1859. **************************** Father of mercy,you made Saint John Vianney outstandingin his priestly zeal and concern for your people.
